Cash Mobb
Akin’s Cash Mobb Tour is an event series that encourages group spending and support of small black businesses. Our first event at new business called Pigeon Peas in Bloomfield, NJ drew a crowd of 50 hungry guests who ate delicious food while learning about their business.
The Den
Keeping with our theme of supporting black businesses with funds and visibility, The Den was an event series held at Marcus B&P (Now Vibe BBQ) in Newark, NJ. Guests were able to try food and drinks from a custom menu while enjoying a performance from a local artist and hearing local DJ’s spin. Through The Den, we were able to bring 300+ guests to the business, and provided some much needed visibility to a local black owned restaurant!
